| About Alex |
 |
|
Alex Hearle is an experienced
producer/director making high profile documentaries and drama
reconstructions for all the UK terrestrial broadcasters and US
based networks Discovery, National Geographic, History Channel
and PBS. He's worked with presenters that include David Attenborough
and defence journalist and author Nick Cook. He took the 'Best
Television Science Production' at the Glaxo-Wellcome Science
Writers Awards for the Channel 4 cosmology series 'Universe'.
With
a strong track record in working with CGI, his broad experience
in combining computer effects with dramatic action brings complex
stories into the mainstream... creating compelling, accessible
and entertaining television.
His comprehensive programme-making
background allows him to deal with challenging filming environments
and contributors. Whether it's interviewing scientists in sub-zero
temperatures of the Arctic or multi millionaires at their Caribbean
hideaways... Alex's people skills always deliver just what the
programme needs.
DVD's of the programmes listed in the curriculum
vitae are available on request.
